Lindsay Inge Carpenter

Lindsay Inge Carpenter is the Pedagogy Librarian at the University of Maryland, where she works with undergraduate students in first year and general education courses and coordinates the Libraries’ online learning and open educational resources programs. She also co-directs the UMD Libraries Research & Teaching Fellowship, a teacher training program for MLIS students.  Lindsay recently co-edited, with Yelena Luckert, The Globalized Library (ACRL, 2019), a collection of essays on the international dimensions of academic librarianship in North American institutions. She has a BA in History from American University, and an MLIS and MA in Russian & Soviet History from UMD, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Student Affairs at the University of Maryland.
