March 30 — Family Day at the National Arboretum

Join the alumni network on Saturday, March 30, for a family friendly walk around the National Arboretum. Meet us at 10am at the Visitor Center. Friends and family are welcome to join us. The first 20 kids get a free gift! RSVP

April 25 — iSchool Alumnus of the Year Event

This year the iSchool's Alumnus of the Year Event will be on April 25, 2019 at the Whittemore House.The iSchool Distinguished Terrapin Award will be awarded by Dean Keith Marzullo RSVP 

April 27 — Maryland Day 2019

UMD Maryland Day is Saturday, April 27. If you're on campus, don't forget to stop by Hornbake Plaza and visit the iSchool table.

May 7 — Alumni Network Annual Meeting 2019

This year's annual meeting will be on Tuesday, May 7, from 7-9 pm. Location and details are forthcoming!

May 24 — Spring 2019 iSchool Commencement

Commencement is taking place at the Reckord Armory from 4:30pm-6:30pm on Friday May 24, 2019. Stay tuned for more details.

Fall Happy Hour

On October 30, 2018, the iSchool Alumni Network hosted their first event of the new year at Lyons Hall restaurant in Arlington, VA.  The alumni President and Network Board members spoke about the upcoming events, mission and benefits of the Network.  The event was well attended and tasty food provided. The board also gave away fun prizes to the first 10 people who arrived.  As well as alumni, many students attended the event and networked alongside iSchool faculty. The new MIM Program Director and lecturer, David Loshin, was the special guest. David gave a preview to some of the upcoming initiatives for the MIM program and its exciting future.  An evening of good food and networking was had by all!  Stay tuned for future exciting events that you won’t want to miss!
