Curriculum & Tracks – Master of Information Management (MIM)

MIM Program Requirements and Curriculum

The MIM degree requires you to complete 36 credit hours with at least a B average (3.0 GPA):

  • 4 Core Courses (12 Credits) required of all students that provide a foundation of skills and knowledge related to technology, information, and management.
    • Modern Techniques for Software Development (waived for programming expertise)
    • Information Management Ecosystems
    • Management of Information Projects, Programs, and Services
    • Industry Capstone Project
  • 8 Additional Courses (24 Credits) to develop advanced knowledge and skills in data science and analytics, cybersecurity and risk management, and leadership and innovation.

MIM Program Specialization Tracks

Three tracks are available:

We offer a flexible mix of modalities (in-person and online) and schedules (daytime and evening). You can complete the program as quickly as two years or enroll part-time. You can choose electives to focus on your area of interest and develop expert-level skills tailored to careers in data science, analytics, cybersecurity, and risk management
